Greetings Representative Lauren Underwood,
As an Independent Media talk show host and a voting resident in your district, I would like to request an interview on the ongoing impeachment process. It seems to me very irregular, historically unprecedented, and gives the appearance of political aggression, especially since there is very little public access to the preceding. Perhaps, as a Democrat and member of Congress, you can shed light on some of the questions I have.
1)- With the transcript of the phone call between President Trump and the Ukrainian President being publically available, what other specific information exists to warrant this infrequent, disruptive, and destructive process?
2)- As with the other previous impeachments investigations, why has there not been a public vote opening an official inquiry? That is to ask, what makes this time so different?
3)- Why was the Whistleblower’s Form apparently (from the timing) changed to allow 2nd and 3rd hand information to qualify as a “Whistleblower?” Previously a 1st hand knowledge was required.
4)- Why is the identity and testimony of the “Whistleblowers” being withheld from the public as has not been the case with other vital Whistleblowers from Catherine Austin Fitts to Chelsea Manning (and others)?
5)- Why is Rep Adam Schiff defended and not censored for “paraphrasing” the transcript grossly out of context to the point of fabrication?
6)- Do you have any personal reservations on how and why this process is operating?
7)- At this point, why not let the people decide in 13 months?
