F2F Radio – Internet Privacy & Security Expectations & Defenses
Spreaker Audio Podcast Link:
With all the talk, rumor, speculation and innuendo, I decided to invite my internet pal from way back to talk about the Reality of Internet Security: the probable, improbable, impossible and inescapable. As much privacy can we realistically expect and what methods can we take to circumvent the ubiquitous data collection methods.
Rob Daven is the creator and curator of The Conspiracy Channel. A truly independent provider of video programs from many Indie-Producers such as Clyde Lewis and our own Feet to the Fire Radio. Rob has also produced many of his own programs including the long-running Jungle Apocalypse Podcast. His background also includes working for clients on Network Security.
I like Rob because he is not paranoid nor an irrational believer in conspiracies, but, will not write them off out of hand. He looks at the info and lets the data talk, judging it within the context of history, logic and common sense. We have talked several times on F2F Radio and the other can be found via the past archives.
Rob and crew are currently rebuilding The Conspiracy Channel after many attacks and obstacles that (magically and relentless) appear when one truly wishes to be independent and takes some time to talk with us tonight, live.
Some topics we talked about:
No such thing as privacy on the internet
The Unibomber Manifesto
That mass exodus of tech people from the industry
The real threat of AI
5g health vs security
What happened with Conspiracy Channel
Plans for Freejack & Conspiracy Channel
