The reason why this Memo is SO important, and shows very illegal action and intent may be understood better by comparison to Watergate.

The White House used it’s power to cover-up the actions of a hired band of civilians who attempted to gain information illegally for political gain.

The Memo proves FBI, DOJ ( and possibly the WH) directly used GOVERNMENT APPARATUS to gain information illegally with the intent to prevent, then overturn the legal election of a POTUS!

This does not make Watergate “OK” it is just FAR WORSE and needs to THOROUGHLY investigated and the guilty jailed with same or even more vigor than Watergate. – James
