A “Leftist” generalization is to use public money, the “Rightist” generalization is to keep/use your own money. So it makes sense to have the public schools staffed by “leftist” people being paid by the public and the “right” would use home schooling with their own time and money.
A biggest difference is the “leftist” train students what THEY want them to know or do (fiction) and the “rightists” train their own children what is, what was and how to do (reality).
Of course the risk in teaching, public or private is propaganda. But, giving students the tools of critical thinking can allow them to verify/validate the teaching. The “rightists” tend to do this, while the “leftist” shun this. But there are exceptions to all generalizations. But Critical Thinking can revel these.

As I see the terms defined, a Grand Jury, Citizen or “Normal”, cannot convict anyone of anything. It would only call for an investigation and trial through the normal legal channels.
